Get out on the Museum Island

Visit the Berlin Wall

Berlin Wall is world famous. Everyone knows the history of it. It was almost totally demolished in 1990, but some remains of it can be still seen here. You can make a walk from the Freidrichshain district to the Kreuzberg district, along the Spree, as a visual history tour of the wall. Make a photo at a section of the wall. It is surely a remarkable historical experience.

Relax in the Charlottenburg gardens

The Schloss Charlottenburg is one of the major highlights of Berlin. Visit this wonderful palace and its gardens. Besides the fact that the palace is an extraordinary architectural jewel of the city, its gardens are some of the best places to relax in romantic atmosphere. This Baroque style garden attracts dozens of local people and visitors at the same time. It includes wonderful gardens and buildings like the Belvedere.

There are some sights where you can get in touch with the Jewish history of the city. Such sights are the Jüdisches Museum, the Denkmal für die Ermordeten Juden Europas Memorial and the Neue Synagogue.
